The Community Housing Council of South Australia Inc (CHCSA) is the peak body for Community Housing Organisations (Associations and Co-operatives) in South Australia. The CHCSA is a member driven community organisation. The Management Committee is made up of members of community housing organisations and supporting advice and policy development is provided by a Policy Committee, Co-op Representative Council and Housing Associations' Forum.

The CHCSA is managed on a day to day basis by a small, dedicated staff team and with the assistance of committed volunteers deliver services as efficiently as possible. The State Government funds the CHCSA. The CHCSA is the result of the amalgamation in 1997 of the Community Housing Associations Forum (CHAF) and the Community Housing Assistance Service of South Australia (CHASSA).
